COLYER COMMUNITY CHURCH
(Brethren in Christ) Welcome to the Colyer Community Church page. If you have come this far, you already have seen what our focus is: it is Jesus Christ. But more, it is his love for you and your need to know him as Savior and Lord of your life. It is to develop a genuine, loving relationship with him, which will be a great blessing to you. The Colyer Community Church is a sister church to Green Grove Church. Darrell Smucker pastors both churches. Colyer church is a very small group of believers who meet each Sunday morning at 10:45 for worship. Our purpose and goal is to worship Jesus Christ and to grow in knowledge, spiritual life, and the character of Jesus. We are small enough that we do not have programs, activities and events. If that is what you are looking for, we encourage you to look elsewhere. What we do offer is an intimate, personal and informal house church approach to worship and fellowship with clear, relevant study of the word of God. Teaching is structured in a bible study format. Questions and personal interaction are encouraged. One Sunday each month is an open forum Sunday, giving those who attend the opportunity to provide the focus. They may ask about any passage of God's word and its message to our lives, or what God's word says regarding any particular life issue. That becomes the study/teaching for that Sunday. Colyer Community Church is located at 105 Colyer Road, one mile south of Route 322 near Colyer Lake in proximity to Tusseyville. The church office and phone number are the same for either church.
